2018 Week 12 Challenges

I fell sick again. Looked like I was not doing the affirmations the right way. Or it takes a lot of time for affirmations to work. I was successful in making a significant progress in studying my psychology exams and wrote my assignments.

Review of Week 11

1.Book of the week: The Power of your Subconscious mind

It talks about the science of prayer. In contrast to the book Secret, this book mentions that if you think negatively, that will show up immediately. The conscious mind thinks logically and finalises on a belief. While the subconscious mind blindly implements it. So you need to be really careful on what you believe. Even though I have been telling myself positive things, I am yet to see the results.

2.Course of the week: Introduction to Psychology

I did not make time to do this course.

3.Habit of the Week: Thank you note

On the first day, when I sent a thank you note, the opposite person was relatively new to me. He did not respond at all. On the second day, I sent it to a close friend and she felt extremely loved. She missed me terribly and we met the next day. On the third day, I sent it to an old friend talking about how I miss college memories with her. She replied back immediately that we should move to the same city to relive the old memories. The fourth day, I sent it to a more recent friend who felt that I was being formal with her. Even though I sent it with the same sentiment to all of them, it had been received in totally different ways. From the fifth day, I felt a bit reserved and was not comfortable to open up with anyone else.

4.Write book

I got the structure in place for my new book. I wrote a little more content and edited the old book. Still a long way to go.

Challenges for Week 12

1.Book of the week: Think and grow rich

I started this book a lot of times but never read beyond the point where the gold digger leaves it just a few inches away. This time, I want to finish it.

2.Course of the week: Introduction to Psychology

This has been pending for a while. So I need to somehow make time for this.

3.Habit of the Week: Stay positive

The past 12 weeks had been a roller coaster ride. I want to end the ups and downs. I need to stabilize so that I can concentrate better on the present. So even if the world goes upside down, I will give my best to stay positive.

4.Write book

Previously, when I did 30-day blogging challenge, even though searching for topics was tough, it was easy to accomplish. For my book too, I will take it as a different topic to write on each day. This way writing won’t feel like a tough process to do.

That is all for the next week.
