I have got no clue how the week flew so quickly. I met people with whom I could connect instantly. I felt so happy to make a few new friends with whom I can talk incessantly.
Review of Week 22
1.Book of the week: Highly sensitive people in love
I could not make time for reading this book. I will leave it for studying after exams.
2.Habit of the Week: ‘Why’
This one habit helped me feel sorted. Even though I was not doing this exercise explicitly daily, I had been doing it at a subconscious level. I found an answer to a long pressing dilemma in my head. I feel less confused and happier now.
3.Study for exams
I did a few previous year papers to gain confidence to approaching exams.
4.Cook Lunch
The meal of the first day came out like baby food with no salt and spice. But it was soft hence eatable. On the second day, I cooked potato curry which was not visually appealing but tasted good. The next day, the tomato curry had no salt again but I learnt the right amount of spice. On the fourth day, I made tomato and carrot rice which was the best in the week. I was out of ideas the next day, so had a simple curd rice. I repeated the best of the week item for Saturday. Finally, Sunday was a cheat day.
If there is one thing I learnt from this experiment is cooking doesn’t take a lot of time. It is the before and after processes which eat up the time. This also gave me confidence that I am not that bad a cook and can slowly improve to cook three meals a day.
Challenges for Week 23
1.Habit of the Week: Affirmations
Staying positive is the need of the hour. I tried a few small affirmations last week and they magically came true. I want to continue that positivity for this week too.
Apart from this, I will continue cooking and studying for exams.
