2018- Week 2 Challenge

I can’t believe that week 1 is already over. Time flies so fast. Writing this review at least makes me acknowledge the time which has passed. It also gives me a chance to plan for the next week proactively.

Review of Week 1

1.Book of the week: Fluent in 3 months

I repent choosing this book for the first week in the year. There were hardly any new points for someone who already started the journey of learning languages. A lot of it was similar to fluent forever.

2.Course of the week: Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content

I finished close to 90 minutes of this course which is much above my target. It was a useful one too.

3.Habit of the Week: Food Tracker

I made an entry daily. But the problem was I had processed food a little every day. Aim is to reduce it over the next week.

4.Exercise Routine:

I had to really go beyond my comfort zone to accommodate time and energy for this. I had terrible pains from running and did not have stamina to exercise. Even though I could not follow the same steps, I tried my best.

5.Behavioral change: Pamper self

I have not really got opportunities to do this. But I took Saturday evening to just spend time on whatever I like instead of worrying about productivity.

6.Socializing

I spent way too much time on talking to people at office this week. I felt it took a toll on my productivity at office.

Even though this week was not superb, I made a little progress.

Challenges for Week 2

1.Book of the week: On Emotional Intelligence

This book has been there in my reading list for a really long time. It is a book which explains why EQ matters more than IQ to grow up the career ladder. It takes around 30 pages per day to finish it. So if I am not able to afford that much time, I will let it overflow for the next week.

2.Course of the week: Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content

I am left with around another 30 minutes of this course. I hope to finish it next week.

3.Habit of the Week: Mood Tracker

I will be continuing the food tracker but also want to get back to the habit of mood tracker. I want to remain neutral and laugh a few times a day.

4.Exercise Routine:

I will continue with the last week one because I have not mastered it yet.

5.Behavioral change: Talk less, listen more

People love to talk about themselves. I want to learn the art of letting others talk.

6.Socializing

Socializing is not just about talking finding a need. So I want to learn how to pull out a conversation out of nothing.

That is all for the next week.

Happy Week 2!
